Tiphareth

Made for #procjam 2019, Tiphareth contains Major Arcana poetic tarot fragment cards based on a GPT-2 instance fine-tuned with a cleaned-up text of Aleister Crowley's "Book of Thoth". Text composed based on a sequence of numbers important in Thelema for each card by Char. Then each card was adorned with a unique not-so-sacred geometry generated in Martin's Ephemerald. Twitter Bots

We’ve made some experimental Twitter bots over the last two years, using Martin’s Ephemerald. Check out Haikookie (which offers haiku fortune cookies to all seekers) and Five Sparrows On A Vampire (which tells you what to cook for dinner).

A paper on these will be presented by Martin at the FDG (Foundations of Digital Games) conference later in 2020.

Revolvelle

A mixed-media project made for GGJ 2020 (on the theme of "Repair"). We wanted to make puzzles with paper volvelles that integrate with a digital framework.

There is an introductory text in the accompanying Twine file. Then, there are 4 volvelle puzzles that can be solved and then decoded with the aid of a modified ogham (ancient Irish alphabet) code wheel. Once you have solved all 4 puzzles, you can input the phrase you get into the Twine game to finish. You can try it here.
